Research Data Stewardship | Metadata | Open Science | Information Systems

In my current role I work as an embedded data curation librarian working with a team of approximately ~150 faculty, students, and professionals on a 5-year NSF-funded water quality project.  I am interested to find novel ways / technologies to maintain the order and connection between research object components: raw data, code/software, model outputs, workflow protocols, metadata, analytical data, visualizations, and more.  Currently I use a data pipeline framework with metadata wrappers to support publicly archiving research objects.  I would be delighted to hear about other approaches and/or technologies that scale from long tail science to big data.
